Irelynn-all grown up!

Irelynn is just about a year old. She continues to impress us with her calm demeanor and kind disposition. She makes a great pointer ambassador everywhere we go. Her light hazel eyes are sweet and expressive. Everyone wants to pet her and stroke her soft ears. Irelynn absolutely melts into people. At my office, she goes from office to office getting loves and pets and pats. I have met few dogs in my life with such compassion and gentleness. But if you are a dog, it is PLAYTIME-wrestling, tug of war, games of tag-it is all about the fun! And so pretty on top of it all:)

you think you're taking Lynnie from me???

words from Ceres gsp, Lynnie's foster sis: "Well, Mom brings alot of dogs thru here and I never complain, well not too much anyway. But Lynnie was a special one. From the first day in the fall we wrestled and cuddled and romped. When Lynne got spayed I laid by her and kept an eye on her for Mom. Then she got adopted, and I really missed her-lots more than some dogs I could mention! But now she is back!!! I gave a loud bark when I saw her, and I never bark, then we took off around the yard like old buddies. So, no one ever asked me about these potential families, but this is the deal-Lynnie is a special one-fun and funny, spunky and sweet, lovey dovey and cuddly to everyone, huggy and kissy, and my tug of war/wrestling/jump on Mom's bed best friend. So you can apply to take her home, but I will be giving you a sniff right along with Lynnie. All families must be gsp-approved:)
adopted? not yet, my dear!

Lynnie tried out a home with 3 little kids. She did awesome with the kids. But unfortunate health circumstances prevented Irelynn from staying there. The good thing is that I get to have my girl back:)
Being with another family has taught us some things about Lynnie. One, she LOVES kids! Two, she is a wonderful and gentle dog, but is a pointer, so she needs some exercise. This means a nice daily walk or a yard to run around in. Three, she is not yet a full-fledged adult, so retains the puppy enthusiasm for life (and in our family we think that is a GOOD thing).
